At Nash Construction we understand the uniqueness of every project, and that the right design is critical to your happiness. Our National Award Winning design team works with you to personally develop the design that works best for you and blends with your existing home.
- Step One: The Needs and Wants Analysis
- The first step in our Nash Interactive Design Process (NIDP) is the initial design meeting. We sit down with you and listen to your needs and establish a design strategy. Next, we measure your house and evaluate existing conditions, enabling us to create a 3-D model of your existing home.
- Step Two: Schematic Design Phase
- We create a schematic design right before your eyes. Here we can run what-if scenarios, place furniture, change the view from 2-D or 3-D or run a virtual tour where you can watch your dreams come to life. Following the completion of schematic design we provide check/budget pricing to confirm the project is within financial constraints.
- Step Three: Design Refinement
- Following schematic design, we develop multiple renderings that help you evaluate the design that is right for you. Discussions will take place through emails, phone conversations and meetings as necessary to finalize the design.
- Step Four: Acceptance and Approval to Begin Construction Documents
- A set of drawings, consisting of floor plans and elevations, are provided for your review and approval.
- Step Five: Construction Document and Engineering
- Following approval of the final design, detailed drawings are prepared which include foundation, framing plans, exterior elevations, construction sections and details, lighting and electrical plans. Drawings are certified by a structural engineer and prepared for permit submission.
- Step Six: Contract
- Following approval of the construction documents, the contract for construction is then completed and submitted for review and approval.
